Chives: effectiveness, why would you weep? Begin by making a wreath. I find it helpful to use the same material base that I take advantage of for my Advent wreath since it has four candle holders already included in it. However, of using pine to make your wreath instead, use Rosemary, for remembrance of course!
Place the wreath with a table in a particular place, adorn it with candles and sprinkle calendula petals around it or use yellowish chrysanthemums. You could also put other herbs in the wreath, depending on what you would like to symbolize. There are tons of resources on the symbolism of herbs.
I have outlined just a few to get you started. Place pictures of loved ones outside and inside of your wreath and place any special mementos or things they enjoyed around it as well. Have a few moments to state your own private blessing or you may invite your loved ones to also contribute meaningful what to the altar and share stories of all your family members.
